All Nissan LEAF models feature a front-mounted motor powered by a 72-kWh battery pack. This front-wheel drive setup generates 214 horsepower and 261 pound-feet of torque. The EPA estimates that the LEAF can drive up to 303 miles on a single charge.
Inside the 2026 Nissan LEAF, drivers will find an impressive array of infotainment features designed to keep everyone connected and entertained. The base S+ trim comes with a 12.3-inch center touchscreen display, while the SV+ and Platinum+ trims upgrade to a larger 14.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in functionality, plus a 14.3-inch digital gauge cluster. All trims include wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™ integration. Four speakers come standard, while a 10-speaker Bose® premium sound system is available.
The Nissan LEAF comes standard with an impressive suite of driver assistance features. ProPILOT Assist combines adaptive cruise control with steering assistance to reduce fatigue during highway driving. The Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention system monitors adjacent lanes and can apply corrective steering if the driver begins changing lanes when another vehicle is detected.
Additional safety features include Intelligent Lane Intervention for lane departure warning and lane keeping assist, collision mitigation with front automatic braking, and rear automatic braking. The Aerial View Camera System provides a 360-degree perspective around the vehicle, making parking and maneuvering in tight spaces easier for Minnesota drivers. The 2026 Nissan LEAF switches from a boxy hatchback to a sporty crossover body style with four passenger doors, measuring 173.4 inches in overall length, 71.3 inches in width, and 61.3 inches in height. This compact frame makes the LEAF easy to maneuver through Maplewood streets while still providing ample interior space for five passengers. An available power liftgate makes it easy to load and unload cargo from the back of the vehicle
